While shopping you can place products in your shopping cart. After placing items in your shopping cart, you can proceed by clicking on check out. Now you will go to the payment. After this you can choose a payment method and confirm your order. You will receive a confirmation email direct after your order. We will sent a e-mail or contact you by phone for the shipping date , if all items are available. If for some reason a item you ordered is no longer available, we will send you a email when we can deliver your order,
Availabilty
Because many factors can affect the availability of the sealife, we work with the "STOCKLIST" of De Jong Marine. If for any reason the product you ordered is no longer available, it will most of the time be available in a few days. Because every day there arrive new shipments and lots of sealife comes available from the quarantine area. (acclimation area)
Shipping
Direct Sealife takes great care to ensure the sealife will arrive alive and in the best possible condition. To achieve that we only use the best, fastest, safest and most stress-free shipping we can offer, because our first concern in for the heath of the sealife.
The day your order ships, you will receive an e-mail containing your items and when your order arrives. Its very important that you accept the package on the first delivery, because our first concern is the health of the sealife.

The Packing
Before your sea life is expertly packed for shipment, it will be select by our specialists to make sure our costumers only receive the best. Meaning the brightest and most vibrant, with no signs of disease, stress, aging, or physical imperfections available.The packing of the sealife will be done in a special packing area where only the best product are used for packing. The sea life will be placed in a extra strong and specially designed bag for sealife transport, which is filled with special prepared packing water. The bags are then filled with pure oxygen and sealed with a special aluminum fastener for an air and watertight seal. From there the bags will be placed in a special insulated box to maintain the water temperature during the transit, if necessary heat packs will be used to maintain the water temperature depending on the outside temperature. After packing the package will be send directly to you. We do our best to maintain the temperature, we are not resposible for the weather conditions.

Shipping & Box rates
The rates you see below are included box charge and packing cost (heat packs). Its difficult to know how many boxes are needed because this depend on the order. That's why we charge every order for 1 box only if its necessary to use a additional box we will inform you, but normaly there will be 4-7 medium pices in a small box and 14-17 small/medium in a big box

    Direct Sealife guarantee that in the unlikely event our sealife doesn’t arrive alive, we will add a store credit to your account for the amount paid for the died sealife. The store credit stays available for 1 year after its added to your account. We can give this guarantee to our customers, because we give great care to our sea life, its very unlikely that your order doesn’t arrive allive. All our sealife is arrive alive guaranteed, except for very difficult to transport sealife which is marked with a "!"behind there names.
    Terms and conditions Arrive Alive Guarantee:

  • 1. Delivery must be accepted on the first delivery attempt.
  • 2. Delivery of sealive must not be refused for any reason, including not being at the delivery location. If any part of the order is refused, the customer is liable for the entire cost of the invoice total plus any return freight charges.
  • 3. All Arrive Alive Guarantee claims must be send to info@DirectSealife.com on the day of delivery.
  • 4. All Arrive Alive Guarantee claims must be accompanied with a digital image of the died sealife in the closed shipping bag and a image of the died sealife out of the shipping bag.

  • RETURN: Because of the packing procedure needed to guarantee the health of the sealife we cannot accept any returns of sealife, because our first concern is the health of the sealife.

  • Sealife that is marked with a ! behind there name have no arrive alive guarantee. Because this sealife is very difficult to ship.
  • All Arrive Alive Guarantee claims must be send to info@DirectSealife.com on the day of delivery.
  • All Arrive Alive Guarantee claims must be accompanied with a digital image of the died sealife in the closed shipping bag and a image of the died sealife out of the shipping bag.
  • If the claim is accepted we will add a store credit to your account for the amount paid for the claimed sealife. The store credit stays available for 1 year after its added to your account.
  • Orders can only be cancelled by Email. The Email must be send to info@Directsealife.com with the order number.
  • If a order is cancelled before 10 am of the shipping day. There will be a charge of 5% of the total amount of the order, because of restocking the animals. The 95% will be send back to your bank account.
  • After 10 am of the shipping day the order cannot be cancelled anymore. Because the sealife can already be packed and shipped.
  • After arriving the sealife cannot be returned, because of the complicated packing that is necessary. This is because our first concern is the health of the sealife.
  • After ordering its possible there will be charged a additional box , because some sealife require extra large packing to insure alive arrival.
